Default How to get from Pisa Airport to Florence

    Hi,

Guess the title says it all. We are visiting Florence for the first time on 17 March and have heard (a rumour?) that there is some sort of transport problem between Pisa Airport and Florence. Advice welcome!

    Hello Florence First Timer,

Nope, there is no problem in getting from Pisa airport to Florence! It is one of the best ways to get into Tuscany and on to Florence.
There are both trains directly from the airport (with stop or sometimes train connection in Pisa Centrale) as well as buses that head to Florence. Both take about the same time, roughly cost the same and both arrive in Florence's SMN train station.

Which one you choose really depends on your schedule, what time you arrive....
You can check train schedules here: www.trenitalian.com
or book the Terravision bus directly through here: Terravision Pisa Airport - Florence Transfer (it is an affiliate link so you can support our forum and site through your booking )
