    Question Florence and Holy Week

We are planning on visiting Florence/Tuscany on Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday.
Do you know if the museums, etc will be opened on these days. Concerned that the attractions might be closed.
    Thanks

Default most everything should be open on Easter weekend

    Ciao Marianne,

You shouldn't have any problems with museums or attractions on that weekend if they are normally open on the weekends. For example, all of the state museums in Florence such as the Uffizi and Accademia are usually open on Saturdays and Sundays but closed on Mondays so on Easter weekend they'll be open as usual. Some other museums are generally closed on Sundays but open on Mondays so if you already know where you'd like to go, check opening/closing days online.
Museums in smaller towns in Tuscany however will likely be closed on Easter Sunday and Monday but not on Saturday.
I highly recommend you be in Florence on Easter Sunday to see the Scoppio del Carro, a very unique centuries-old tradition in Florence.
