Hi everyone,

I work as a junior researcher for a London-based television production company, Avalon Entertainment http://www.avalonuk.com/

Just so you have a little more info about us… Avalon Factual is one of the UK’s leading independent production companies. CEO Jamie Isaacs has created many acclaimed series including The Choir That’ll Teach ‘Em, The Crane Gang and World’s Strictest Parents. Our producers have created and worked on some of the biggest factual brands ever including Hell’s Kitchen, Airline, Dancing on Ice and Agony and Ecstasy: A Year at The English National Ballet. Some of our shows have won prestigious BAFTAS and Emmys. Most recently we have produced Scrappers (BBC1) and Diary of a Children’s Ward (ITV1). We specialise in access-based documentaries, working with big brands, public institutions and household names and we are proud that we always get asked back – Heir Hunters on BBC1 is in its ninth series.

We are developing a new aspirational documentary-style programme looking at the wonderful world of villa rentals. It will be an observational documentary (with a tone similar to Channel 4’s Liberty of London and Grand Designs) looking at villa owners as we follow them on their rental journeys. In particular, I’m keen to chat with villa owners who are about to embark on the journey for the first time.

We are still in the development and research phase so just looking at some very initial casting for the moment. I am writing this post as I am hoping there are some interested villa owners who might like to get involved or learn more!

Please let me know and I can put you in touch with our producer to find out more.

Thanks so much,
