Default Florence SMN to Rome FCO

My family are travelling tomorrow morning via train from Florence SMN to Rome FCO. How early should we arrive at the Florence train station? We have tickets booked and seating assigned.

I would say to try to be at the station 30 minutes before your departure time. That way you have time to find the correct track, then the right coach and get on. You might have to wait for the train to arrive from elsewhere, like from Bologna, so it might not be there when you arrive... but if you're on the right track, then it is a quick matter to find the right coach once it does arrive and get on and find your seats.
