Hello

We are looking to visit Tuscany during Easter. 29th March to 3rd April.
We are 5 families, 10 Adults and 9 children( age between 4-6)
Looking for a family friendly luxury farmstay with activities for kids.

Also celebrating 40th Birthday.
As it is during Easter, would there be any festivals,
Passion plays etc.?

I was looking at Camporsevoli one of your recommendations but I guess it’s
A bit of a drive from Florence.

Appreciate your response.

Thank you
Jeena

Easter in Tuscany

Buongiorno -

Sounds like so much FUN!!

You mentioned Campersevoli - wonderful! Yes, it is a bit of a drive to Florence - though you could look into taking the train which would save you parking and hastle and the kids normally love the experience.
I have worked with the owner in the past and I would rank this as an excellent choice. They are family friendly and kid friendly - and if they still have space, you will find them very accommodating especially with a party in mind.

In addition, I love the area and there is a lot to see without driving all over the place - including vineyards, food festivals and Easter events.

Check out this link for things to see and do nearby: https://www.discovertuscany.com/val-di-chiana/

You will need to move fast, because many places are already filling up for Easter, so here are a few other places to consider:

https://www.discovertuscany.com/tuscany-villas/villa-vianci.html big rooms allow for space for the kids

http://www.discovertuscany.com/siena/accommodation/farmhouses/casa-podere-monti.html - they have an awesome Easter event this year in the town near by (within walking distance!)

closer to Florence - and who can pass up a wine tasting ....

My last suggestion is

Easter weekend

Thank you Donna

I spoke to Valentina at Camporsevoli and according to her there is no Easter festivities in the area :(
the rest of the accommodations are all booked out.

I also found Borgo di Pietrafitta. Your suggestion on this will be highly appreciated.

We are looking forward for some Easter celebrations in Tuscany if we could!

Thanks again
Jeena

Place to Stay for Easter

Buongiorno,

Bummer! but yes Borgo di Pietrafitta is a valid alternative located in the midst of the vineyards and olive groves of Chianti - half way between Siena and Florence. I have never visited their accommodations - so I can't give you any insider information on the decor or setup, but I do know the area and I have passed in front of them several times as I drive around working on articles and itinerary ideas. Castellina in Chianti is the closest little town and it is a charm.

Did you check Villa Vianci in my early communication - they are a great option as well.

Buon Viaggio,

Donna Denise
