Suggestions on a 2-3 night stay in Tuscany

My wife and I will be in Italy in September 2019 and want to get suggestions on accommodations to stay for 2-3 nights. This is going to be the highlight of my wife's trip so want to make it special. She is a foodie so am interested in somewhere that might do their own olive oil, pesto, farm to table meals, a place she might be able to help with a meal, and somewhere that might be close to some things to do in town.

I appreciate any suggestions anyone is able to offer!

2-3 night stay in Tuscany

We go by the ruleof three: it'son the third day of visiting a place that you get a real feel for it. If I had 6 daysin Tuscany, I would do 2/3 days in Florence. The crowded nature of Florence gets to us after that. I would then go to Siena. Day trip to Chianti country to the north.

Two or Three days for a foodie

Buongiorno,

I think that is just wonderful - a special trip together. You might want to start by checking out this link which is a list of places that have their own restaurant on-site so you can count on some awesome meals.

This link will take you to some excellent places in Tuscany that are on vineyards and have a special touch with their own wines, olive oils and other delicious goodies.

Here are a few other places that we have actually visited and prepared a review which might give you some insight.
Some of these places are the lists of above -
and some are not ;-)
