    Default Accommodation near restaurants

We will be in Chianti wine region for 4 nights in early May of 2019. We would like to stay in centrally located village that has restaurants we could walk to each night after touring wineries and other villages in the region. Can you suggest a village that is centrally located and has enough good restaurants within walking distance of city center? And a recommendation on hotel or B&B in that town also?

    Default walking distance

    Buongiorno -

walking distance is always an interesting concept in Chianti, many times if you want views and the countryside it precludes being within walking distance of anything - and it also depends on how far is "walking distance"

I can think of a few places that will give you a bit of both:

These are located within the walls of a small medieval town in Chianti - and provide great views, hospitality and within walking distances of restaurants:

This surprising little gem has been fully renovated in Radda in Chianti:

Just a bit further outside of town...but still within walking distance:

You may also want to consider staying at an accommodation which has an onsite restaurant, check out this link:

    Buon Viaggio,

    Donna Denise
