An extended trip to Tuscany has always been on my bucket list... now that I'm in my 60's, it's time to start crossing things off that list!
I want to come to Tuscany in June-August and stay in a place where I can walk into town, shop at fresh markets and take a cooking class or two.
I don't want to be in a secluded area as I will be alone, but I don't want to be in Florence either... I've been there and while it's lovely, it's just too busy.
I've also been to La Badia di Orvieto in the Umbrian countryside which again is beautiful, but I didn't see a town that I could walk to.
If you could offer any suggestions for me, I'd appreciate it!
