Hi,
We are an Indian couple in mid 30's and planning Italy trip in March 2019. We will be staying two days in florence and covering pisa from florence post which we will rent a car for Tuscan region. We will be staying in tuscany for two nights (24th-26th March). We are looking for a place which meets the following requirements.

1) An outdoor hot tub where we can see green fields (like in the movies) - The most important !
2) A place which offers cooking classes and truffle hunting
3) Preferably an Agriturismo farmhouse in chianti region (We want eat the local stuff grown in the farms)

We intend doing the following during our 2 day trip:

1) See San Gimigano and Siena
2) Wine tasting
3) Take a cooking class and eat enjoying green views.

Read too many comments and blogs so super confused. Dont want more than three options please.

Thanks :)

Buongiorno,

Here are some of my favorite place:

Great views, close to truffle hunting ask about an on-site chef with cooking lessons and fresh food.

It's hard to meet all the requirements at one place, so you might have to be flexible with what you end up doing and staying.

Keep in mind that in general, a cooking class can take all morning or afternoon, then you enjoy what you have made over the meal to follow, the truffle hunting takes early in the morning and wine tasting will be easier if you're directly at a wine estate and don't have to drive to it (also because you shouldn't drive at that point).

So I also would recommend staying in the Chianti area so that visiting Siena and San Gimignano (a whole day between the two) is easier and you can fit the other activities in between as well as while you're in Florence.

In addition to ones mentioned above, take a look Casolare di Libbiano, which serves dinner on site and offers cooking classes directly on site. The pool has views over the vineyards, though I am not sure if they have a portion that is a hot tub

Closer to Florence, this small B&B has the outdoor hot tub with the view, plus offers cooking classes on site, no restaurant though:

Last, in Chianti, this beautiful relais can make sure you have your cooking class and truffle hunting happen, you are very close to Siena but the hot tub is located in the castle's wine cellars, not outside:
