Luxury accommodation options North & South of Tuscany

Hi All,

In late April 2020 we (wife & 1 year old daughter)are planning to head to the Tuscany area for two weeks with a car.
Based on information that I have read on this website, it seems that the recommendation is to find two places as a base to stay, one in the north and one in the south.
We are wanting to stay in 5 star luxury accommodation, where we have pool accessible, as some days we are hoping to simply stay at the hotel/resort all day and relax. Although we have a car, we would ideally like accommodation that is somewhat near to restaurants and town, so that we have more options then just the hotel.

After looking at many different options, I am completely lost with several items.
1)Should we choose to have one or two bases for the two weeks?
2) Which town or towns do we choose to stay in?
3) What are the options for luxury accommodation that is under $500 euro a night.

Thanks in advance for any information you can offer.

The place to stay depends on your preferences, but here are lots of options by your budget and luxury style to rent an apartment in Tuscany https://tranio.com/rent/italy/tuscany/ In this beautiful region of Italy there are 7 provinces and historical cities such as: Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Siena, Volterra, San Gimignano, Arezzo, Grossetto, Livorno, Massa Carrara (Pistoia, Prato and Prague Region). To travel through Tuscany itself on a journey along the Chianti road.

North & South

Buongiorno,

1)Should we choose to have one or two bases for the two weeks?

I would wholeheartedly suggest you staying at two different locations

2) Which town or towns do we choose to stay in?

Between Florence & Lucca and then around Siena, Montepulciano or Pienza, this will give you two totally different ideas of Tuscany - both beautiful!

3) What are the options for luxury accommodation that is under $500 euro a night.

Keep in mind that most places do not open their pools until May (unless the weather is exceptionally warm...Though with Easter in the middle of the month, some may open the pools because it looks pretty and not because you will want to be going for a swim)

It is located between Florence and Lucca and offers a lot of sweet extras to fill your days and night:

Towards Montepulciano and Pienza you may enjoy - lovely terrace for relaxing.
