Where can I buy 500 bottles of beer for a wedding?

Hello,

I'm getting married in Valgiano near Lucca in two weeks and we have bought all of our wine from a local shop. We also need to buy about 500 bottles of beer (Peroni) and were told to just buy them from the supermarket. I doubt they will have that many bottles in stock though, is there a better place to get them from in that quantity? I tried to search the internet but I couldn't find anything so I was hoping someone on here might have an idea.

The first thing I would do is ask the people who run your accommodations, many times they have an account somewhere (that they use) and can put you in contact with someone.

However, a quick research lead me to this page, which is a list of drink wholesales in the Lucca area, there some with website - and email addresses just reach out to a few and see how they respond:

Most of the larger supermarkets will cope. The worst that could happen is that you'd clear them out of Peroni and have to make up numbers with Moretti or Nastro Azzurro etc.

The wholesaler is unlikely to be much cheaper, especially if you find the supermarket beers on offer, however them may well deliver at this volume.
