Opera in Florence on 21st September 2017?

I'd be very grateful for some help. We're in Florence on 21st September 2017 and would dearly love to see an Opera. I've been searching for 3 months now and can't find a single performance of any opera that night.
Have we timed our trip extremely badly, or are you able to point us in the direction of any opera being performed on that night?
