Florence May 24 through May 27th

lots to see and do!

There are a lot of things to see in Florence, this itinerary of 2 days in Florence lists many of them.
Whether they take you 2 or 4 days all depends on whether you spend time in each one or just visit from the outside. This of course depends on how much art and history you can take :) If you love paintings, definitely spend time at the Uffizi, the Accademia or the Palatine Gallery at the Pitti Palace... if you love sculpture, then I'd recommend the Bargello museum. The Medici Chapels are small and more architecture/sculpture... all depends on what you like or prefer to see.

As for climbing up the Duomo, I'd suggest Saturday but that's personal preference, it is open on both days..... so maybe you can leave that decision to once you're here, see what the weather is like, whether when you go by there is a line or not, just keep hours in mind since it closes a bit early.
