My niece, who has never been to Europe, is dying (no pun intended) to see this museum, but I just read a post on Trip Advisor that says it's closed. Is that true?
A valid alternative is the Museum of Torture in San Gimignano, which shows instruments used in medieval times, some original but many reconstructed. It was definitely an interesting museum to visit within San Gimignano, given the setting.
