We would like to visit the synagogue in Florence but are not sure exactly where they are located and their hours for visiting the museum housed there. Do you have any information or possibly a website address?

The Synagogue is not too far from all of the main sights in Florence's historical center. It is located on Via Farini near Piazza D'Azeglio.
When you first arrive in Florence, stop at one of the several tourists office and pick up a free city map. You can ask them to mark the location of the synagogue for you to find it easier. You can reach it by foot or by bus. To get there by bus, take the bus #6 from the stop on Via dei Martelli near the Duomo and ask the driver to let you know when you reach the stop near the "sinagoga" - the bus stops right in front of Piazza D'Azeglio. From there it is just around the corner.

The Synagogue and the Jewish Museum are open for tourists
- from April to September from Sunday to Thursday from 10.00 a.m. till 1.00 p.m. and from 2.00 p.m. till 5.00 p.m.
- from October till March from Monday till Thursday from 11.00 a.m. till 1.00 p.m. and from 2.00 p.m. till 5.00 p.m. On Fridays and Sundays from 10.00 a.m. till 1.00 p.m
Please note that bags, packs, cameras, videos, etc. are not allowed inside the synagogue and no tours are allowed during services.
