Next month will be out 3rd visit to Florence but still have lots to see, but are taking it easy and no rush. We are looking at visiting the Pitti Palace this time and the Boboli Gardens, but are unsure about the costs.

Palazzo Pitti

Buongiorno -

there is just so much to see at Palazzo Pitti. And now that they have closed the roads off in front of it, the large "square" in front of the Palazzo has become a favorite "hang out" spot for locals and tourists alike for some sun, relax and people watching.

You can check out this page which has practical information on prices and opening times. You will see that the Museum of the Pitti Palace is huge - there is sooooo much to see.

As for Boboli Gardens, it used to be one of my favorite spots to hang on week days. I would grab some foccacia bread, a bottle of water and try to be nestled down in some quite corner before noon, so that I could hear all the city church bells ring for lunch - magical.

Buon Viaggio
