Staying in the outskirts of Florence, recommendations wanted
Good day fellow travelers!
My boyfriend and I will be traveling to Florence, to not only see the city, but also as a hub for day trips around the area. Traveling by car, I think it best to stay in the hill country outside the city. Does anyone have any recommendations for places to stay? We do not have children, and would prefer a place that does not cater to families.
Thank you for the help!

I have two places to suggest that don't cater to families, one is in San Gimignano and it includes a views and within walking distance of the city center...it is a good position for day trips into Val d'Orcia, Siena and even the coast.
The other place I would recommend you look at is in the area Mugello It is a small place, only a short distance from the city center of Florence - accessible also by public transport, yet it is quiet and relaxing.
Buon Viaggio
