Florence Museum Card
We will be in Florence for one day in July. We plan on visiting the Accademia and would like to go to the Duomo and climb to the top as well as other places as time permits. As we know it will be very crowded in July, does it make sense to purchase the Florence Museum Pass so we can get skip the line entry? Do they give children under 18 a discount?
Thank you.

For one day in July, I think the Firenze Card just to skip the line at the Duomo would be paying way too much. Instead, book the time of your visit to go up to the Cupola, it can be done now by booking the time (no extra cost) - http://it.grandemuseodelduomo.waf.it/booking.php
Book separately the entrance into the Accademia and you've got your two musts taken care of, anything else can fit in in between and after (the Opera del Duomo pass includes all 5 sites around the cathedral in addition to the cupola so definitely take advantage and visit those!)
