One day in Florence
Hi,
We are planning a day trip to florence in the 1st week of November. Can you please suggest must places to visit/see. We do plan to go to San Lorenzo Market. but given the limited time we will skip the museums .Can you please send a walking tour map and also which train station should we use if we are coming in from Rome.
Thank you so much.

Take a look at the three walking itineraries on here (with map) to see what is included as must-sees:

From Rome, you'll definitely want to take a fast train to Florence's Santa Maria Novella train station.

First week of November
Buongiorno,
Just a quick FYI - the first day of November is a national holiday in Italy - so if you are traveling that day be sure to double check all train schedules...there are reduced trains and buses.
Buon Viaggio,
Donna Denise
