Question re: November 14, 2010 Parade in Florence
On the night of November 14, 2010 we watched a parade in Florence with participants dressed in Medieval costumes and pulling a large replica of Michelangelo's David. There were many white flags with a fleur-di-lis on them. Did this parade have a name? Was this a one-time event or does it occur annually? Thanks for any information.

November Parade
Buongiorno,
After a little bit of research, it doesn't seem like there is an annual event - however I wonder if it were something to promote the show of a theatre piece ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o7Mg5aMxsm8 MADRAGOLA )
Curious,

Grazie Donna,
That may have been it. I never thought of looking on youtube. Because of you, I just looked and the first parade I found was almost exactly the parade I saw on November 14, 2010 - I even recognized some of the same participants. The parade I saw did not have the trumpeters nor the flag wavers at the end. Other than those two features, it was exactly the same. https://youtu.be/iV70-ARFqGk
I appreciate your help,
Wayne Jacobs
