Hi all,
I'm about to re-visit Florence for a few days. Apart from all the main museums/cathedrals etc.. this time I'm trying to find out where I can get the best views of the city from above (for instance at sunset).
I've been already to Piazzale Michelangelo, which is fabulous, and probably THE best view of the entire city. I'm now looking for places WITHIN the city center, places where the views of the monuments and palaces are close and stunning.
I did some research and I found out that one of such places would be the (expensive) cafe' at the terrace of the Grand Hotel Cavour.
Another place I read about is the terrace café at the top of the Rinascente.
Any other suggested places you know about?
thanks in advance
