    Default Wheelchair accessible accommodation

    Hi All,

We are looking to visit Florence next month but we need some advice on where we can stay as I am wheelchair bound. Ideally we don’t want to hire a car so a central location would be great.

    Thanks All

My first suggestion is location - a close to the centre as possible. Piazza della Repubblica is a good choice.

Here are three suggestions - the first two on the square and the third very close:

Aside from staying central so you don't have to worry about long treks from one place to the other, make sure that whatever place you choose has an ELEVATOR if it isn't located on the ground floor. The elevator is not a given!
