    Default Firenze Card???

    Buongiorno,

    Buona visita!

    Default Should we buy card?

We will be in Florence July 9-15. We have three days to see the city on foot. We are not young. Would it best for us to buy the card or just pay as we go. Also, will the card get us in places faster. My wife especially wants to see the real statue David. Thanks

If you plan on seeing LOTS of places, the card is worth it. But you really need to run around to get in as much places as you can in the 72 hours you have.

Otherwise, just pre-booking a ticket to the Accademia Gallery (where the original David is located) and any other museums you really want to see also gets you in faster, since you skip the general entry line. You just need to decide on a date and time for those. The only ones with really long lines are the Accademia and Uffizi, most other museums have shorter lines which move fast, so I'd say all other museums you want to see you can wait and just buy once you're here, it gives you more flexibility in the end and saves money.
