Hi there!
I will reach the big three score and ten this year (Gulp) and I have always wanted to go to Florence but never made it.
I am delighted to say, myself and my (older) friend have just booked a week in Florence at the end of March. I am a mobility scooter user. Although I can walk, I have no endurance. Can anyone make any suggestions of how to make our trip the best possible, please? Are there things I can do in advance to help overcome obstacles?
The top of my list is to see the statue of David with my own eyes and a peek inside Il Duomo.
Anything you suggest that is accessible will be a bonus after that!
Any advice would be welcome.
Thanking you for any advice you offer.
Yours truly,
Mary
