Hi all

I am planning a 7 day trip to Florence next May. I will be traveling from Bristol to Pisa by plane and then train to Florence. I would like to have a mix of relaxing at the accommodation and sightseeing. I would like the accommodation to be quiet and relaxing, with maybe local food in their restaurant and also a heated pool or Jacuzzi for the relaxing days. I can see lots of Agriturismo's that offer similar to what I need, but I do not want to use a car, just buses and trains. Can anyone recommend somewhere with that in mind please ? I want to visit Florence mainly and Siena if feasible.

Thanks everyone :)

Take a look at Villa di Lilliano - it is definitely a relaxing place and you can reach it easily with bus and a short (albeit uphill) walk from the bus stop: https://www.discovertuscany.com/tuscany-accommodation/villa-medicea-di-lilliano.html

Otherwise La Paggeria: https://www.florenceaccommodation.com/la-paggeria.html
The bus stop to Florence is very close to their entrance. They have the Jacuzzi ;-)

From Florence you can catch the bus to Siena: https://www.discovertuscany.com/siena/tourist-info/getting-to-siena-without-a-car.html

Florence

I only have 2 days to see Florence. Recommendations? I'm quite interested in the history and architecture of the city. I don't believe I need to spend a lot of time at the Uffizi. I would like to see the David at the Accademia, but not sure if I'd be interested in much more there.
