    Arrow Tuscany

I’m planning of travelling with friends to Tuscany next year
We would take a flight till Pisa and then rent a car and visit the wineries

My question : We will probably buy about 100 bottles of wine
As we take the airplane back to Belgium , how do I ship my wine back to Belgium ?
Can we depose them somewhere at the airport of Pisa ? ( DHL ? …. )

    B rgrds

    Ciao Peter,

I think you definitely want to have any wine you buy packed and shipped directly from the wineries where you buy them from, they pretty much all offer this service for you. You don't want to risk them breaking on the way there. If they don't offer the service, you can always take your bottles to a Mailboxes Etc type of place where they'll pack and ship the bottles for you using UPS, FedEX or DHL. I am not sure you want to get to the airport in Pisa and worry about it then, you should do it as you go as soon as you have enough to send (I believe most common size box fits 6 bottles.

With liquids being limited on flights, you might be able to pack 1-2 into your check-in luggage but also making sure you pack them really well so that there is no risk of breaking during the trip.
