I will be spending 7 days in Tuscany, based in Pisa In August. The four kids (8,11,13,15) would like to visit Acqua Village and the parents would like to see Cinque Terre. I would like to know what is the best way to get to both of these as I will not be hiring a car. Pisa, Lucca and the coastal resorts are on the agenda also but there is plenty of info available on those already.
Thanks

Staying in Pisa you'll have really access to all of the coastal towns, including the Ciqnue Terre and Acquavillages, by TRAIN!

You can see both the Acquavillages are close to the train station, so walking distance -

Cecina is closer to Pisa, Follonica is less than half an hour more.

Cinque Terre is also a train ride away to the north. Search for Riomaggiore on the trenitalia website - check time tables here: www.trenitalia.com
