    Default Small wineries in Tuscany

Thanks in advance for any help. We are 2 adults (mother and daughter) visiting Italy for the first time. We will be staying in Lucca Sept. 14 to 21. We appreciate any advice for finding small family owned wineries and also any place for a day of cooking lessons.
We are hoping there will be a place for one-day car rentals in Lucca.
Any advice for a day trip from Lucca is welcomed.

    Default small vineyards in Chianti

One of my personal favorite small vineyards near Greve in Chianti is Azienda Agricola Altiero - they produce and sell both wine and oil.

I know they are finishing up at the wine festival at Greve on the 14th of September, you can try and contact them for an appointment: http://www.altieroinchianti.it/contattaci.htm
