Greetings,
I'll be visiting Florence in September/October.
I'll certainly go to the Accademia Gallery to see David and other art works.
Are cameras allowed in the Museum? I suspect that tripods are forbidden due to the tripping hazard.
I browsed the Accademia Gallery website but I didn't find any information about photography.
Thanks for your help.

As Uomo Grasso has already confirmed - you can take pics, no flash, no tripod. You need to request permission if you want to take pics with tripod, it is a bureaucratic hassle to do so.

You can take pics at all state museums, as long as no flash is used.... this has only been allowed since last summer, around July. Before they weren't allowed.
