Train Question

After sevearl days in Volterra and Lucca, I'm supposed to be traveling on September 13th from Pisa to La Spezia to Vernazza. I noticed there might be a train strike in Tuscany and was wondering how this translates or what it means for travel. I saw this Italian site http://scioperi.mit.gov.it/mit2/public/scioperi and a line for

Inizio - 12/09/2015
Fine - 13/09/2015
Sindacati - OSR ORSA FERROVIE
Settore - Ferroviario
Categoria - PERSONALE SOC. TRENITALIA DI MACCHINA E DI BORDO DIR. REG.LE TOSCANA EX COMPARTIMENTO DI FIRENZE
MOdalitia - 24 ORE: DALLE 21.00 DEL 12/9 ALLE 21.00 DEL 13/9 Regionale

Since the above mentions Tuscany should I be worried about the trains that day and look for alternate modes of transporation for my travel on September 13th?

Thanks,
Robert

Striking in Italy

Buongiorno Robert,

Unfortunately, having an alternative might not be a bad idea, even just travelling the day before or after to avoid the confusion. The strike indicates it is valid for all provinces in the region of Tuscany.

BUT, it is also very possible that the strike will be avoided or cancelled - so you might want to check back maybe the last week of August. (Highly unlikely)

Buon Viaggio --
