Question How to allocate 5 days (4 nights) to which particular region in Tuscany

    Hi,

I am a bit loss in planning and how to allocate the number of days in a particular region. First of all, this will be the first time in Tuscany.

I like scenery/mountains and wine tasting..I am planning to rent a car. I will be with my wife and little one of 3 years old

so which city/place/region to go? florence (Im a planning to spend 1 day in florence)/lucca/chianti region(which place exactly)/Siena/San Gimignano?? and how many days should i spend there? any suggestion for accommodations?

    thanks a lot,
    Rama

I would suggest to stay centrally between Florence and Siena - the area around Montespertoli is pretty central.

Take a look at this recommendations on kid-friendly places- http://www.discovertuscany.com/tusca...-friendly.html
The one at the top, Montalbino, has farm animals which you little one might love!

Also take a look at this 5 day itinerary to get an idea of what you could do: http://www.discovertuscany.com/itine...n-tuscany.html
the main itineraries page above that has more recommendations for the day trips in Lucca, Pisa and Florence.
