Siena to Rome by Car - need help!
Hi! My apologies this is so last minute, we leave Sunday for Italy and I realized last night that I had not plotted out the driving route between Siena and Rome. We are in no hurry that day and have plenty of time to see the sites, any suggestions on routes to take and places to stop along the way? We love nature, castles, food and wine!
Thank you in advance for your assistance!

Between Rome and Siena
Buongiorno,
I just did a similar route with my sister a couple of months ago.
We met in Orvieto (so first stop Rome to Orvieto) and enjoy this little city.
Afterwards we picked up via cassia which took us to
Acquapendente,
Radicofani
Bagno Vignoni
San Quirico d'Orcia
Siena
travel time is about 2 and a half hours (not including stops) Orvieto will probably be the longest stop. Bagno Vignoi is one of my favorite places to stop for a meal.
You will find tons of great photo opportunities
Buon Viaggio,
Donna
