Dear Sir
My wife and me have planned our short break in Tuscany, we are flying in to Pisa on 27th April and returning back to London on 3rd May, so we have 5 whole days (excluding 2 travel days) for beautiful Tuscany.
- we like to visit Pisa, Lucca, Florence and Sienna
Please advice the best way to spend our time and to minimise the travel. We are planning to rent a car.
Thanks for your assistance

Visiting montecatini terme in march

4 of us will be visiting Montecatini in late March. Trying to figure an itinarery including, Parma, Florence, sienna, lucca, maybe Pisa. Maybe Cinque Terre as well. We want to visit a vineyard for wine tasting and maybe the thermal spa in Kingston. Thinking of driving route to Parma on our way from Milan where we are flying in midday. And back up the coast going back to Milan. We have 5 nights in a montecatini hotel and the last night in Milan airport. What itinerary suggestions, places to visit and winery tours etc would you suggest.

Montecatini in March

Buongiorno,

I suggest that you have a look at this article - which might give you a few ideas: http://www.discovertuscany.com/itineraries-in-tuscany/five-days-in-tuscany.html

5 days in Montecatini

1 day Florence (train it to the city)

1 day Pisa/Lucca (remember buy your tickets for the Leaning tower in advance)

1 day Siena (take the direct route to max your time)

1 day Montecatini / Pistoia - Pistoia is the Cultural Capital of Italy for 2017 and truly merits a good visit, but it is close enough to give you time to visit Montecatini and maybe the spas??

1 day Chianti / San Gimignano (a day of wine tasting!!)

I would skip 5T this trip, and do it when the weather is warmer

Buon Viaggio,

Donna Denise

April / May in Tuscany

Buongiorno,

I suggest that you also look at our itinerary for 5 days in Tuscany for a few ideas: http://www.discovertuscany.com/itineraries-in-tuscany/five-days-in-tuscany.html

However, that takes Florence out of the mix - so you might also want to look at our three day itinerary and a two day itin for just Florence:

http://www.discovertuscany.com/itineraries-in-tuscany/three-days-in-tuscany.html
(substitute the first day with a trip out to Pisa and Lucca)

https://www.visitflorence.com/itineraries-in-florence/two-days-in-florence.html

Just a note, this a great time to visit the cantinas - maybe something different like a bike tour??

Buon Viaggio,
