Default 10 Day Honeymoon Tour of Tuscany

    Dear Discover Tuscany,

I will be going on Honeymoon with my wife for 10 days in early August this year. We will be renting a car. The intinerary of the locations we are staying in are:

    Day 1: Pisa
    Day 2&3: Siena
    Day 4&5: Florence
    Day 6-10: Barga

    Advice please:
1 - What would be the best scenic routes as we drive from city to city?
2 - Any other cities we should be considering as we will have a car?
3 - Is 2 days in Florence and Siena too much or litte?
4 - While in Barga, will looking to doing some wine tours, visit Lucca and Cinque Terre. Any other places or things to do which we should consider?
5 - Any other advice? Also happy to modify the order and days spent at each of the locations.

Many thanks in advance and I look forward to hearing your recommendations.

    Kind regards,
    Mars

    Default Honeymoon in Tuscany

    Buongiorno,

Lovely itinerary. I am going to assume that you are taking the last four days to really relax and enjoy you honeymoon. If that is the case, I think your Itin is perfect - even if you want to see all the museums and churches and monuments, three days would give you fore freedom.

    Two days: http://www.visitflorence.com/itinera...-florence.html

I spent an August vacation in the Garfagnana area - and just loved the laid back atmosphere.

Here is the itin I followed with some ideas of places to visit: https://www.discovertuscany.com/garf...arfagnana.html

And you can also dabble in exploring the Lunigiana area. I also had a lot of fun discovering the local wines around Lucca and Montecarlo, this article may give you some extra pointers on what and where: https://www.discovertuscany.com/itin...ine-roads.html

Buon Viaggio e Congrats on your upcoming wedding,

    Donna Denise
