Default Trip to Tuscany in the first week of December

We are planning a 4 day trip to the Lucca and Pisa areas the first week of December 2018 and would like to know the main christmas markets within an hour or so drive. The website only shows 2017 dates. Can anyone tell me if the dates will be the same this year for the likes of Pisa/Florence etc. Thanks

    Default Christmas Markets

    Buongiorno,

Lucca and Pisa - great places to start visiting Tuscany!

The webpage will be updated shortly, most places don't confirm their dates until the last minute but the good thing is that most of them are the same. They may shift to start and end on the weekends but in most cases any markets featured in the article last year will be up and running again in 2018.

Once you arrive in Tuscany you will also notice lots of advertisements for Christmas fairs and markets, so you may even find one or two that we haven't yet put on the list. (and if that is so, be sure to let us know if you thought it was really good!)

while in that area you may also want to check out some wine tasting near Lucca and the lovely villas in the Lucca area,

Below are two articles that we give you a few more ideas:

    Events in Tuscany: https://www.discovertuscany.com/tusc...-december.html

Day trips from Lucca (and Pisa): https://www.discovertuscany.com/lucc...und-lucca.html

    Buon Viaggio,

    Donna Denise

Yes, it is actually not updated, hope to find new updates very soon. It is a good platform otherwise.

    Hi
Thanks for replying. I just seem to find a lot of conflicting information online. We are planning on visiting lucca, pisa and florence but would like to plan the trips around the markets as some websites show a Santa's workshop in Lucca on 1st-2nd Dec then another website shoes the lucca xmas markets starting on 4th Dec. We're quite strapped on days and don't want to miss things but it's difficult when there is definitive information.

    Thanks

Great, thanks for the reply. I understand it because of busy scheduling we can't do lots of things.

    Default Christmas Markets

    Buon Natale!!

It has taken a few days extra to put together an updated calendar for the markets - but we got you covered now

You can browse through this link and you will find some of our favorite holiday markets:

One of my personal faves is in Arezzo - but I realize that it is not too close to Lucca or Pisa

However, Pistoia is not too far off and they do have a full program of great ideas - not to mention an incredile city center to visit.

    Buon Viaggio,
