Val d'Orcia in early September

Hello! I wonder what will be the scenery (hills) look like in Val d'Orcia during the first/second week in September? Will the area still look green or everything should have been harvested, plowed, in brown mostly? If possible, please post or link some pictures. Thanks!

Buongiorno,

it will definitely already be harvested and plowed - actually, most grains are harvested in late June or July.

But, believe me when I say that doesn't make it less interesting or beautiful, the hills and landscape of Val d'Orcia have a charm in every season - and the creti senesi, which ar famous in this area are never green anyway! Many of the green images you see of this area start about now till mid may when they will slowly start to turn gold.
