    Default Tuscany in August

Planning Tuscany, Cinque Terra and surroundings trip in mid aug. We're ok with the heat. Have heard various negative feedback ie nothing will be open because locals on vacation. Any feedback would be helpful. Thanks!

    Default open in August

    Buongiorno -

At one time it would have been absolutely true that NOTHING was open in August - but, times have changed and though many businesses may close their doors for a week or two, you will find the supermarkets, museums, restaurants and tourist attractions are definitely open.

If you want to get your teeth cleaned or buy a new pair of reading glasses, maybe not in August but if you are travel thru Tuscany and Cinque Terre - you will find many things of interest open - and open normal working hours.

    Buon Viaggio,

    DOnna Denise
