I and my wife is planning to be in Siena from Rome in July for 3 days. We want to visit Pisa snd Florence from Siena by staying in a village. We also want to walk or cycle in countryside out outside Siena to see the sunflower and vineyards before moving to Venice.
Do suggest a best suitable itinerary for us.

Siena

Buongiorno -

here are a few articles I suggest you read through for activities around Siena that seem to fit into your ideas:

I did this hike right outside of Siena on my own: https://www.discovertuscany.com/iti...ia-francigena/siena-to-monteroni-d-arbia.html

Wine tasting within walking distance of the city center: https://www.chianti.com/wine-tasting/la-lastra-siena-wine-tasting.html

Top destinations close to Siena: http://www.discovertuscany.com/siena/what-to-do/day-trips-from-siena.html

Florence can be easily reached from Siena either by car or public transport - and is a great city to visit to get a feel of the cultural differences in art, architecture, and food between Siena and Florence.

Pisa is a bit off from Siena. If you have a car you could plan on a panoramic trip out and a highway trip back, to get the most out of the scenery and small towns. But I believe public transport would tie you up for a large part of the day.

Buon Viaggio,

Donna Denise
