Ciao!
My girlfriend and I are planning to visit the region in July but are struggling to decide the best itinerary and way to travel.
We'll be flying into Rome where we'll be staying a few nights, then looking to travel to Florence, with the intention of staying at an Agriturismo on the outskirts so we can relax in the countryside whilst being able to visit the City at our leisure. Then travelling to stay in/around Siena before travelling to Pisa to fly home.
Firstly, does that sound like a good plan? Can you envisage any pitfalls from doing it this way?
Secondly, what sort of prices would we be looking at via train for the above? We're trying to decide whether to use public transport or hire a car.
Many thanks
Nick
