Siena to Cortona
Hello! My husband and I are heading to Tuscany in June (so excited!!!). I am trying to figure out how to get from Siena to Cortona via bus or train (or combination of both). Trenitalia's website keeps telling me "no travel solution found." Anyone have any ideas? Thanks very much for your assistance!!!

Ciao!
I can imagine your excitement, visiting Tuscany and Italy will be a lot of fun! Prepare yourself to take it easy, to relax and enjoy everything you see.
As for Siena - Cortona, bus is the best bet... but even then there isn't a straight connection.
You have to go to Arezzo first, then from Arezzo to Cortona.
Here are the timetables - from Siena to Arezzo search here:
http://www.busfox.com/timetable/
from Arezzo to Cortona: http://www.etruriamobilita.it/orari/LFS6.pdf (from page 3).
Trains are hard, because from Siena the train line goes down to Chiusi, lower than Cortona. You need to wait and do train change there... or go back up to Florence and then head to Arezzo, then on to Cortona.
A great alternative - do a tour! take a look at this one from Siena:

or if you are also in Florence before, this one:
