Tuscany/Florence with 2 toddlers

Hi, looking to visit italy for first time with 2 small kids for 9 days. Any place that can serve as a good base for 9 days to see Tuscany and spend 2-3 days in Florence. We might fly to Rome so might add that also to our 9 days. Please help.

When traveling with small kids, I really do believe you have to take their needs into consideration first of all and arrange the vacation around them. If they're happy, so will you.

So in that case, I'd recommend these really family-friendly farmhouses to stay at - they are really central for using as a base for your entire stay and doing day trips around the region.

Agriturismo Vernianello - near Castellina

Podere Casanova - near Montespertoli

Agriturismo Montalbino - also near Montespertoli

All are in the Chianti area.

Thanks for these suggestions.

What's a better time to travel to Italy? First week of sept or third week sept or maybe second week October?

Is it possible to do rome, Florence and Venice in 10 days?

Are there any agriturismo close to florence with which we can enjoy a farm stay and use public transport to move around and not have to hire a car?
