Could you please give me information about a connection from Firenze Airport to Acuapendente starting on 11th of August at the Airport around 13:30/14:00h either via Siena or Orvieto. Thank you very much!
Even if you're heading out of Tuscany, I've looked into some possibilities as you're just south of the border in Lazio ;-)
First, there are no easy bus connections from Orvieto to Acquapendente so forget that as a possibility.
So through Siena it is - take into account that renting a car at Florence airport and driving would be 2 hours, while by bus it will take over 4 hours, minimum.
There are several connections and changes to make, so with luggage and all, I would really recommend renting the car (search for car rentals here: http://www.discovertuscany.com/tuscany-car-rental/car-hire-in-tuscany.html )
But if you still want this adventure, consider you need this bus from Siena:
57/P from Siena to Acquapendente

It leaves from the TRAIN Station in Siena, so it would be best to get to Siena by TRAIN rather than bus (to avoid getting to the bus station in Siena and then needing another bus or taxi to the train station).
* To get to Siena by train, you need to get to the SMN train station from the Florence airport - either by taxi or with the "vola in bus" bus shuttle. The bus shuttle departs every 30 minutes. There is a link to the time schedule at the end of this article: http://www.visitflorence.com/getting-to-florence/by-air.html
* Trains to Siena have a train change in Empoli.
So you'll need to do this:
- airport to SMN train station by taxi or bus
- train to Siena (with train change in Empoli) - check timetables on www.trenitalia.com
- bus from Siena to Acquapendente
How will you move around once you're there? The bus I linked to above does go to Pitigliano and Sorano so you can visit those two beautiful towns in southern Tuscany ;-) How many days will you have total? Do you want to spend so much time getting connections by public transport?
Rural Tuscany (and the same goes for Lazio and Umbria) is best experienced by car so I really do suggest you consider this possibility.
