    Default Car rental

My daughter and I am thinking of renting a car from Florence to drive out to the vineyards/small towns in Chianti. Where would be the easiest place to drop off the car without having to go through complicated traffic rules i the big cities? Any advice is much appreciated!

Default Rent a car at the airport

Leaving and returning from the airport is easier than going into the heart of the city. You can take a SITI bus to the airport from a bus station very near the train station Santa Maria Novella. Or of course you can take a taxi to the airport, but will pay more.

If you're using Florence as your base, you can take the tram stop to Via Sansovino from SMN and use Hertz.

This is one of the closest outside the center. You are outside and far from the ZTL, you can head down into Chianti at that point. Here's the location on Google Maps: https://goo.gl/maps/UZKgF9yqwrL2

Another alternative is Europcar in Novoli, here's their location: https://goo.gl/maps/P31HWwwYzLt

Third option is with Maggiore, they have a location on the viali outside the ZTL: https://goo.gl/maps/NWWmn8F5jmx
