Where to stay

My husband and I want to see Florence and surrounding areas for 7 days in July. Would like to stay somewhere with a swimming pool and don't want to drive so plan to use public transport. Would it be better to stay in Florence for 7 days and travel from there or a few days in Florence and then move on? Quite fancied staying on a farm in the countryside but is it too far out if no car?

We are up for any suggestions and flexible around where we stay.

Many thank,
Corinne

Tuscany in July

Buongiorno,

You could start by checking out the structures in this link, they are all close to public transport and most of them include a pool (several are located in the countryside)

Do keep in mind that many times, public transport will limit your travel time - from the early morning till about 6 - 7 pm. So you should also look at places that include a restaurant or the possibility to do easy food shopping.

Buon Viaggio,

Donna Denise
