Public transport between Siena and Panzano
We will be staying first in Siena and then moving onto Panzano. Is it possible to do this on public transport please?

getting to Panzano
Buongiorno,
this is one of the wonders of the public transport system... and don't get me wrong, I love the buses in Tuscany and have never had a problem getting around.
But when I explain to people that Panzano in Chianti is located in the province of Florence and that buses from Siena don't go there, I am without rhyme or reason to explain why they couldn't extend the bus route another 15 minutes to Panzano and connect Siena to Florence.
What I can tell you is that the Siena bus gets to a small town called Lucarelli, not too far from Panzano (not walking distance). So, if you were meeting friends or maybe even the owner of the accommodations could come and pick you up.
Otherwise, you need to go back to Florence to then come back down to Panzano...
Buon Viaggio,
Donna Denise
