Default Driving from Florence to Siena on a Sunday - open wineries?

Hi! My husband and I will be driving from Florence to Siena on a Sunday afternoon this July. We would like to stop at a couple of wineries on the way. Do you have suggestions for several that would be open? Do we need to make reservations? (I did see that Fattoria Viticcio that you recommended is open). Any others that are on the way? Any suggestions for places to stop for either lunch or dinner depending on when we leave? Thanks! ....Deborah

    Default Lunch at Montefioralle

    Buongiorno,

for St Valentine's day I had lunch up at the little town of Montefioralle above Greve in Chianti. A small little restauarnt with home cooked menu and a panoramic terrace - they are normally open only on weekends (so you are in luck) and you can check their site out here: http://www.tavernadelguerrino.it/

He serves local specialties and local wines, well worth the visit and definitely within anyone's budget.

    Buon Viaggio
