Default Accommodation in a small town, walking distance to restaurants in Chianti.

Hello, we are headed to Tuscany in mid-October for three nights. We would like to see Volterra, San Gimignamo, Siena and of course a wineries tour. We will have a car so transport between the towns in no problem. I have been looking for accommodation within walking distance of restaurants ( so we may enjoy the wine) in a small picturesque town. Any suggestions ? Thank you

    Default Within Walking Distance

October is a lovely time of the year with all the fall colors starting to come in full force. If you are looking to walk to a restaurant then you may want to look for something within one of the small cities - because mid Octobe it starts to get dark pretty early and that would have you walking the back roads in the dark to get back to the apartment.

You could look at Antico Pastifico in Greve, which is a bit in the country but actually in the city (Iknow that sounds confusing but when you get there you will understand what I mean)

Or maybe Villa Alba in San Gimignano.

    Buon Viaggio
