Default Tuscan town/village to stay in

My husband, myself and our 1 yo will be visiting Tuscany for a week during October.
We are looking to spend the week in a nice and small village or town between Siena and Florence, that will mostly reflect the classic Tuscan charm.
    Any recommendations?

The answer will really depend on one piece of information you left out:
--> will you have your own car or use public transport to move around?
In the beginning stages of planning to come to Tuscany? Make sure to read Where to Stay in Tuscany WITH a car and Where to Stay in Tuscany WITHOUT a car for ideas on where to stay in Tuscany. Also read When to Visit Tuscany to decide when is the best times for your visit.

    Default staying in Tuscany

    Buongiorno,

Lourdes question is a valid one - however I am going to assume that you are with a car - so I suggest you look at

You might also want to read the article below - though it talks more about places for families with kids just a bit older - there are several that have services that are perfect for all ages.
