Lunigiana

In summer we go for 2 weeks to Mulazzo. We are very much interested in what we must see over there.
We also like to walk/hike (6 a 10 km). Any proposals??????

The area is perfect for hiking but also to make it to the beach, which isn't far, and to visit the many small towns and castles in the area. For example, the castle+museum in Aulla, the museum in the castle at Pontremoli, the small medieval hamlet of Filetto and Bagnone, the caves at Equi Terme (and nearby hot springs in the river) and hiking around Vinca (if you want to make it down that far).
We haven't stayed or visited Mulazzo, will put it on our list ;). We stayed closer to Fivizzano and another time in Bagnone, so most of my suggestions are to the east of Aulla than to the west.... you'll have to share your finds with us as well!
We went hiking into the Apennines park, you can find some trails on this site - this one is due east from Mulazzo: http://www.trekappennino.it/itinerario/lagastrello-scalucchia/
