Question I will be following the 7 day Itinerary in May.

After spending some time in Florence in May I will be following the suggested 7 day itinerary. I have one additional day to spend in the region and I will need to get back to the airport at Florence the day after the last day for an early afternoon flight. Any suggestions as to what to do in addition such as; stay a day longer here or there or take in another place etc. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Default an extra day in Tuscany

    Buongiorno,

I suggest that between the third and fourth day you look at adding either

    Volterra: https://www.discovertuscany.com/volterra/

or one of the day trips in this article: https://www.discovertuscany.com/san-...gimignano.html

I mean there are lots of things and places to go - but if you are looking for new destinations then either one of these articles will fill your day.

Another suggestion would be to split Cortona and Arezzo in two seperate days....slowing down you pace and giving you just a bit more time to enjoy everything.
